Blair Schulman is an art writer, critic and independent curator. Past exhibitions have discussed the social issues of HIV/AIDS and the history of cruising for sex. Blair's writing has appeared in Art in America, HuffPost Culture & Arts. Hyperallergic, Kansas City Star, Juxtapoz, VICE, and was a longtime contributor to the late Review magazine. In 2015, he and InformalityBlog founder Melaney Mitchell developed Guerrilla Docents, a social art practice engaging strangers off the street, taking them into galleries to discuss art where the opportunity might not otherwise be present. Blair participated in the 2012 Oklahoma Art Writing and Curatorial Fellowship presented by OVAC (Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition) and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
