Stefanie Kae Dlugosz-Acton was appointed the assistant curator of architecture, design and decorative arts at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri in May of 2016. She has worked at the Cranbrook Center for Collections and Research, The Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art at Indiana University, and the Dallas Museum of Art. Before she started at The Nelson-Atkins, she conceptualized, cultivated and implemented exhibitions such as Simple Forms, Stunning Glazes: the Gerald W. McNeely Collection of Pewabic Pottery at the Cranbrook Art Museum and The Real Real Spectacle at CAVE Gallery in Detroit, Michigan.
