Social media has a tendency to allow us to be alone together. Anson the Ornery’s #helpie requires two people to create the selfie; one needs to crank a generator while the other takes a photograph in front of the landscape that lights up via the generation. We’re interested to see this in action and the discussion that comes out of it.

Final installment of the Midwest Queer Existence series at Vacant Farm. Artists Do Nut, Kelsey Wroten, Lyndsey Lesh, Jessica Borusky, and Brock Bryan will be featured this evening. A group artist talk will also happen Saturday at 1pm led by Danny Orendorff.

SPECTRA’s reoccurring short film series presents a collection of queer feminist videos curated by Jessica Borusky. Video pieces by artists include: The Divine David, Karen Finley, Orlan, Andy Kaufman, Vaginal Creme Davis, Jack Smith, Maria Bamford, Zackary Drucker, Coco Fusco & Guillermo Gomez Pena, and Jayson Musson (and more). This event will culminate with a discussion following the videos.
