Caroline Colby-Gonzalez’s paintings, displayed in the front gallery, explore the idea of יָדַע  a Hebrew word meaning “to know” that she explores as a double entendre for sexual intercourse. Using power dynamics, she exploits the idea of the male protagonist and “the other.”
