Mark Allen is showing his infamous pool photographs printed on aluminum at the Blue Gallery. The same night the Missouri Bank ARTBOARDS featuring images from the same series will be installed and on view through May 2015 on Southwest Boulevard.

Raechell Smith and David Cateforis will discuss the current exhibition at the H&R Block Artspace, Making Histories. The two will discuss the artists within the show and the conversation that each artists creates by revisiting history through their work. Making Histories is on display through April 4.

Ben Coover and Molly Hewitt’s The Cissy Room brings two internet artists together IRL to show a collaborative experience of the bedroom as a container for fantasy as well as dealing with conversations of gender and sexuality. Both artists are traveling to Kansas City, Coover from Philadelphia and Hewitt from Chicago.

the donut box shows work produced by Seniors in Illustration at the Kansas City Art Institute. This is an opportunity for the viewer to experience the variety of conversations that illustrators are able to create within a fine arts institution.

Sean Starowitz hosts a talk at The Drugstore. The discussion led by Brett Littman of the Drawing Center NYC, Sean Starowitz of “Bread! KC” and Jonathan Bender of The Recommended Daily will focus on the ways in which communities of art interact and are influenced by food.

Quadrigarium’s RVB presented by Charlotte Street Foundation

Charlotte Street Foundation will host intern-media performance company Quadrigarium. The operetta features six actors and an octet of musicians. The performance was designed and produced by Quadrigarium founder and conductor J Ashley Miller. Tickets are $10 and seating is limited to 50 people per performance.

Anne Boyer will give a reading of her own works. Admission is free, but a $5 dollar donation is encouraged. All of the benefits will go directly to Anne Boyer to aid her cancer treatment.
